Kite Summary
Buy  £215

The Talon UL was developed with low weight and performance as the key factor.
The Standard has good low wind ability, but the UL has VERY low wind ability.

Capable of positive low wind drive, higher wind robustness and the familiar Talon feel,
the UL is not only a great compliment to an already capable trick machine,
but a unique and sublime trick flying experience that makes it THE Talon to own!
  • The Talon UL is a superb light wind freestyle trick kite allowing you to express yourself with a huge range of tricks and combos.
  • Has excellent pitch performance for an UL and incorporates Roll Bars, making it yoyo and multi-wrap with great ease in low winds.
  • Yoyo stoppers are equipped with a slip-catch. If a line tries to slip off of the Roll Bar after a trick input, the catch will prevent this.
  • The light weight ripstop leading-edge material covers socket and yoyo stopper cut outs to eliminate line snags. All are internally reinforced.
  • The trailing-edge is lightly reinforced to ensure longevity throughout the kite's lifetime.
  • Leech line is adjustable, but not recommended for light wind flying.
  • Leading-edge middle section houses the connecting ferrules, allows for easier changing of ULE or LLE spars. No ferrule glueing required.
  • Lower spreader ferrule is also easily removed during spar replacement. No gluing necessary.
  • 2-piece spine enables the kite to be packed down to less than 90cm.
  • Exposed stitching protected by tough 'Moonie Tape', preventing failure due to spine-rubbing.
  • Non-snag, 3-piece single layer nose construction.
  • Versatile sail graphic that looks fantastic and contains many themes and colouring preferances.
  • Great freestyle trick flying with few interruptions. The Talon UL flows smoothly through it's tricks & combos with a clean, fluid feel.
  • Excellent light wind performance with a respectable and robust upper wind limit.

The Ultra-Light Talon should be your second choice.
It is designed and balanced for those low wind days, but doesn't compromise on tricks.
Superb balance and a unique feel make it very addictive!

Thought by many to be the King of the Talon range.
